The FIRST Cooktown 'KIDS ART SOCIETY' get together was held today on gallery verandah.
Thirteen kids attended an introductory art session and discussed the
type of art materials they are interested in using for future sessions.
A large list has been made and an order will be sent.

Kids want to paint in acrylics, watercolour, fabric; draw with
charcoal, markers, graphite, inks; do collage, air dry clays, plaster
molding, craft with stickers, templates, glitter, and wooden shapes and
much much more.
So the enthusiasm is there and we will be looking forward to many interesting art and craft creations over the next year!
